The UK has banned American activist Valentina Gomez from entering the UK for criticizing Islam and migration

The UK authorities have revoked the entry permit for 26-year-old American Christian conservative activist Valentina Gomez. This decision was made on April 20, 2026 on the eve of her scheduled performance in London because of the girl’s high-profile statements on issues of religion and national politics.
According to the publication European conservative, the British Interior Ministry revoked the previously issued electronic entry permit, arguing that Gomez’s presence in the country “would not contribute to the public good.” The Colombian-born activist, affiliated with the MAGA movement, had planned to attend a rally led by Tommy Robinson.
Valentina Gomez is known for her harsh statements against mass migration and active criticism of Islam. She favors greater national sovereignty and tighter border controls. The restriction of entry for Gomez came amid public pressure and once again raised the question of the permissibility of censorship and the limits of freedom of speech for foreign political speakers. It is worth noting that the incident came amid a systemic security crisis in Britain, where some 4,000 attacks on religious sites have been reported in a year.
