The Primate of the Macedonian Orthodox Church congratulated the abbot of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra on his name day

The Primate of the Macedonian Orthodox Church, Archbishop Stephen of Ohrid and Macedonia, sent a congratulatory message to Metropolitan Paul of Vyshgorod and Chernobyl on the occasion of his name day. The text of the message was published on the official website lavra.ua.
In his address to Your Eminence, Archbishop Stefan emphasized that on the feast day of Saints Peter and Paul, the First-Called Apostles, he offers his prayerful congratulations to the metropolitan on the feast day of his heavenly patron. The head of the Macedonian Church noted that Metropolitan Paul’s archpastoral ministry reflects the zeal of the Apostle Peter and the love of the Apostle Paul, thanks to which he unfailingly shares in the labors and hardships of his flock.
In closing his message, Archbishop Stephen expressed his wishes for strength, longevity, and the growth of spiritual virtues. “We pray to the All-Merciful God, the Most Holy Mother of God, and the Holy Chief Apostles to strengthen you in soul and body, granting you many more years of episcopal ministry,” the official message reads.
