Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk met with the Secretary of the Holy See

On August 25, 2026, a meeting took place in Moscow between Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, chairman of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, and Archbishop Paul Richard Galler, Secretary of the Holy See for Relations with States. The central topic of the discussion was the persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church by the Ukrainian state authorities.
