Political analyst Konstantin Bondarenko called the attack on the monks of the Svyatogorsk Lavra an act of "brutality"

The murder of a monk and the wounding of other residents of the Svyatogorsk Lavra sparked sharp criticism from the expert community. Political analyst Konstantin Bondarenko, in an interview with blogger Alexander Shelest, described the incident as a true atrocity, emphasizing that such actions are a consequence of lawlessness and the devaluation of human life in the context of a military conflict.

Konstantin Bondarenko expressed the view that the attackers regard those who do not share their views as enemies who must be eradicated. The political analyst also criticized the authorities, drawing attention to their silence regarding the tragic events at the Svyatogorsk Lavra.

As a reminder, the international law firm Amsterdam & Partners LLP previously issued an official demand calling for an immediate, independent, and transparent investigation into the death of Monk Varsonofiy (Turyansky), which occurred at the Svyatogorsk Lavra of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Attorney Robert Amsterdam emphasized the need to identify those responsible and hold them strictly accountable under the law.
