While the believers of the UOC are accused of violating quarantine because of the religious processions in the open air, the head of the OCU Epiphany Dumenko, and 9 “hierarchs” were buried without masks conducted the funeral of “Metropolitan” Anthony Makhota, who died of coronavirus, in the church of St. Andrew the First-Called in Khmelnitsky. The photo and report of the funeral were published by the OCU website.

As the resource writes, Epiphany was co-served by Metropolitan Michael of Lutsk and Volyn, Archbishop Nestor of Ternopil and Kremenets, Archbishop Herman of Kharkov and Khotin, Archbishop of Ternopil and Buchatsk Tikhon, Archbishop Agapit of Vyshgorod, Bishop Kirill of Uzhgorod and Khust, Bishop Mark of Dunaevets, Bishop Adrian of Shepetovka and Bishop of Kherson and Kakhovka Boris.

The clergy of the Khmelnytsky diocese, the flock, representatives of local authorities and relatives of the Metropolitan Anthony prayed at the service, the OCU reports.
