The hierarch of Phanar visited the diocese of ex-metropolitan of the UOC

On August 20, 2022, the hierarch of the Church of Constantinople, Bishop Mikhail of Koman (Anishchenko), visited the monastery of Nectarios of Aegina, which belongs to the diocese of Alexander Drabinko in the OCU. This was reported on the page «Mission of Stauropegia of the Ecumenical Patriarch in Ukraine» on Facebook.

Together with the Bishop of the Phanar, former metropolitans of the UOC Simeon Shostatsky and Alexander Drabinko served in the monastery that day.

The Church in honor of the Transfiguration of the Lord is a warm temple of the monastery in the name of St. Nectarios of Aegina in Khutor Yasny. It was built in 2014-2015 on the initiative of the Metropolitan of Pereyaslav and Vishneve, then still part of the canonical Church – the UOC.
