In the Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Ivano-Frankivsk, provocateurs tried to disrupt the hierarchal service

In the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ of the UOC, at a meeting of the new Bishop of Ivano-Frankivsk and Kolomyia Nikita (Storozhuk), provocateurs started a fight, trying to disrupt the hierarchal service. This was reported by the press service of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna diocese.
Provocateurs were collected personally in social networks by the adviser to the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk, Nazar Kishak.
“According to our information, there are victims: broken faces and broken noses of parishioners,” the message says.
After the attackers were forced out of the church, they blocked the believers in the cathedral for three hours, while shouting: “Get the Moscow priest away,” “Moscow KGBists to Moscow.” The provocateurs also stated that the UOC should cease to exist in Ivano-Frankivsk.
The police were on the scene. According to their calculations, the attackers were about 70 people.
The press service also reported that TSN journalists were the first to storm an Orthodox church in Ivano-Frankivsk.
“When a show script is written, there are actors – there must be cameramen who will record it on camera. Ukrainians need to be intensively fed with sensations related to the Church of Christ, so that they never take their eyes off their smartphones for a moment,” the diocese noted.
