“Dismantle the booth”: Lviv activists demand that the mayor demolish the Vladimir Church of the UOC

On December 13, 2022, in Lviv, activists and supporters of the OCU demanded that Mayor Andriy Sadovyy demolish the Church of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir of the UOC in the Sykhiv district, because they believe that the temple is “a symbol of the presence of the Russian world in Lviv,” reports vgolos.ua.

One of the activists, Anton Petrovsky, said that the temple was built illegally «with the direct patronage of the FSB officers of the Russian consulate.»

“This booth needs to be dismantled, because it is a symbol of the presence of the “Russian world” in Lviv. This booth is a symbol of their arrogance and attempts to root the Russian world in Lvov. It is still a symbol of our inability to cleanse ourselves of Russian influence,” Petrovsky said.
