Yevstratiy Zorya: OCU believers raise the issue of such shrines as the Pochaev and Svyatogorsk Lavra

Speaker of the OCU Yevstratiy Zorya, in the program “Vremya: Online” with Maria Skibinskaya on Channel 5, spoke about what, in his opinion, the first “worship” of the OCU in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is.

“I think it is a symbol of movement towards victory. It is obviously too early to talk about a complete victory. But the fact that this is an important sign, a milestone, a significant achievement of the church and Ukrainian society — that the all-Ukrainian and world shrine gets rid of the spirit of the “Russian world” and returns to serving God and the Ukrainian people — this is certainly true, ”said the “archbishop” .

Zorya claims that «the return of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is important, because for thousands of years it has been one of the leading spiritual centers for our people and for all Orthodoxy.»

“We have taken important but initial steps along this path,” he said.

The speaker of the OCU also stated that «people are raising the question of such shrines as the Pochaev Lavra, the Svyatogorsk Monastery.»

“But just like in the case of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra: first of all, you should act gradually, balanced, wisely — but relentlessly,” Zorya emphasized.
