Officials and journalists gathered for the Epiphany "service" of the OCU in the Lavra

The “service” of the OCU in the Assumption Cathedral of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra was attended by ex-president Petro Poroshenko with his wife Marina, deputies, and invited journalists. Those who came to the church had to pass a metal detector check and present documents, Channel 5 reported.

The few believers who came to consecrate Epiphany water on the square in front of the temple were brought a cistern with “pre-consecrated” water.

Recall that the “service” of the OCU in the Lavra was taken by free buses from all regions, and media accreditation was announced.
