In Belogorodka, Kyiv region, supporters of the OCU came with a grinder to seize the temple of the UOC

On February 24, 2023, Archbishop Sylvester of Belogorodsk reported on his Facebook page about an attempted raider seizure by supporters of the OCU, led by the «clerics» of this structure of the St. Michael’s Church of the UOC in the village of Belogorodka, Kiev region.

Bishop Sylvester asks for prayers.

“Dear friends, on this terrible day for Ukraine, some seize the church instead of praying and mourning. That temple, which in the days of the war was and is a place of help for our soldiers and their families!” he wrote.

“One of the clerics of Epifaniy greeted the parishioners of the UOC – the real owners of the temple – with the words: “Hello, Mos*ali!”. He added that this is the only way to greet the “occupiers,” the Pershyi Kozatskiy Telegram channel reports.

“Later, OCU activists brought a grinder and began to cut the locks on the House of God,” the message says.
