The Ukrainian people should not allow blasphemy towards the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, - Abbess Seraphima

The Ukrainian people must not allow blasphemy against the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, which is in great danger today. This was stated in an appeal published by the press service of the UOC, the abbess of the Odessa Archangel Michael Monastery Abbess Seraphima (Shevchik).

According to her, the eviction of the monks from the Lavra is only a link in the chain of other repressive actions against the UOC.

The abbess noted that the authorities do not have the authority to interfere in the life of the Church and provide certain confessions with any preferences.
