Patriarch of Serbia urged to pray for the clergy and flock of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church

Patriarch Porfiry of Serbia in his Easter message called on the faithful of the Serbian Orthodox Church to pray for the clergy and flock of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

«We pray for peace in Ukraine, for an end to suffering and conflicts between brothers of the same faith and the same blood, so that enmity and hatred are replaced by friendship and love,» he said.

The Patriarch urged «especially to pray to the Risen Lord and for the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, its hierarchy and its faithful people who are subjected to injustice, violence and persecution.»
