Czech Republic imposes sanctions against Patriarch Kirill

The Czech Republic imposed sanctions against the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill. The corresponding decision is posted on the website of the Czech Foreign Ministry, writes Evropeyskaya Pravda.

The rationale for the decision states that Patriarch Kirill “by his actions actively supports Russian aggression in Ukraine.”

Inclusion in the sanctions list means a ban on entry into the Czech Republic, the impossibility of carrying out any financial transactions through Czech legal entities, or the freezing of any assets in the country.
