Kropyvnytskyi City Council voted to ban the UOC

Deputies of the Kropyvnytskyi City Council voted for an appeal to the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada regarding the adoption of relevant legislative initiatives to ban the activities of religious organizations of the UOC. This is reported by the publication Access Point.

The deputies adopted the corresponding decision during the meeting of the session on May 4. It is noted that 23 out of 27 deputies registered at the beginning of the meeting supported the relevant appeal.

The draft decision was developed on the basis of a corresponding petition to ban the activities of the UOC, which was registered in April.
