Believers of the seized UOC Cathedral in Frankivsk met with UN representatives

On May 5, 2023, the religious community and clergy of the captured Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ met with the UN Monitoring Mission, the press service of the Ivano-Frankivsk diocese reports.

During the meeting, members of the religious community testified to the UN representatives about the violation of their rights and described the details of the seizure of the temple and the facts of the use of violence, including with the use of tear gas, against the believers of the UOC.

Recall that on March 28, aggressive radicals seized the cathedral of the Ivano-Frankivsk diocese of the UOC.
