Primate: Councils of the UOC have opened up new opportunities for our Church to testify of love for God and neighbor

Councils of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church have opened up new opportunities for our Church to testify to love for God and neighbor. His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufry said this in his speech after the Liturgy on May 27, 2023.
The Primate noted that at the Kharkiv Council of Bishops, which took place 31 years ago, and at the Council of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the city of Kiev, the first anniversary of which our Church is celebrating today, very important decisions were made that solved many problems of our time.
“May the Lord help us, dear brothers and sisters, to preserve the purity of the holy faith. May the Lord, through the prayers of the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the saints, bless our people. May the Lord send peace to our hearts, to our families and to our Ukrainian land,” Primate added.
