Yelensky and Yevstratiy Zorya allegedly went to Istanbul to meet with Patriarch Bartholomew - social networks

Social networks report that the head of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnopolitics and Freedom of Conscience, Viktor Yelensky, and the «Metropolitan» of Bila Tserkva, Yevstratiy Zorya, allegedly went to Istanbul to meet with Patriarch Bartholomew. The Churcher Telegram channel writes about this.

It is noted that, given the latest ultimatums of the National Reserve of the Ministry of Culture to the UOC regarding the transfer of the buildings of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra and the end of the three-day period, which Minister Tkachenko announced, social networks suggest that «it is the situation around the Lavra that will be the main topic of conversation on the Phanar.»

«There is also an intrigue as to which particular religious organization will be given the use of the buildings of the ancient monastery: the stauropegia of the Ecumenical Patriarchate or the OCU,» the Telegram channel says.
