We are ready to accept the monks of the Lavra as part of the OCU, - Dumenko

Epifaniy Dumenko stated that «the brethren of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra want to move to the OCU,» where they are «ready to accept,» since the Lavra is now «part of the OCU,» writes an Orthodox Times source.

«We maintain regular contacts with other monks of the Lavra in anticipation of the final decision of the state regarding the buildings of the Lavra. They want to remain in the Lavra Monastery as part of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, and we are ready to accept them. We will renovate the Lavra Monastery,» the head of the OCU said.

He also added that «anyone who wants to pray to God and live as a monk in the Lavra Monastery can do it. However, anyone who wants to pray and serve the ‘Russian world’ must leave.»
