The head of the City Council Krasilov admitted that the actions of local authorities in relation to the UOC are illegal

In an interview to the Espresso channel, the head of the Krasilov city council, Nila Ostrovskaya, admitted that the actions of the local authorities to ban the UOC are blatantly illegal. This is reported by the Information and Educational Department of the UOC.
«We have to some extent exceeded our authority — this church is not banned at the state level, but we have banned it in the community,» said Nila Ostrovska.
In addition, Orthodox residents of Krasilov note that during the Russian aggression, local authorities «actively engaged in sowing internal enmity in the community and violate the equality of Ukrainian citizens in accordance with their religious beliefs.»
