The OCU announced the start of a "chaplain mission" in Warsaw

The «cleric» of the Kharkiv «eparchy» of the OCU Serhiy Sirenko announced the start of the «chaplain mission» of this structure in Warsaw on July 28, 2023. He wrote about this on his own Facebook page.
«With joy and great gratitude to the Lord, yesterday we celebrated the beginning of the Chaplain Mission of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in Warsaw and served our first service — a prayer service in honor of the 1035th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus-Ukraine. This wonderful moment is a long-awaited gift to us from the Lord and it is very symbolic that we started our services on this particular holiday,» Sirenko said.
In this regard, he expressed his gratitude «for the help and support» to Vitaly Bely, Advisor to the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Poland, Metropolitan Kazimierz of Warsaw, and the rector of the parish, Priest Adam, who «kindly provided us with a room for worship.»
In addition, Sirenko thanked «for the support and trust» the Chairman of the OCU Chaplaincy Mission Metropolitan Hilarion and Professor of the Department of History of the National University «Ostroh Academy», a member of the Synodal Commission for Inter-Christian Relations of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine Andrey Smirnov, «who contributed most to the creation, existence and Development of the OCU Chaplain Mission in Warsaw».
