“Everyone knows that there are 79 buildings on the territory of the monastery, but there are only 40 real buildings in which one can live or conduct economic activities. to speed up the process of transferring another 30 premises to the use of the reserve,» Ostapenko said.
He also clarified that the monks can stay on the territory of the Lavra, and rehabilitation centers for the military will be organized in the hotels located in the monastery.
«As for the theological academy, this issue should be resolved at the state level, namely the Ministry of Culture and Education. The reserve will not deal with the seminary,» Ostapenko said.
