In Krivoy Rog, the St. Nicholas Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and the diocese administration suffered from a missile attack

September 8, 2023 as a result of rocket fire damaged St. Nicholas Church and partially the management of the Krivoy Rog diocese. This is reported by the Information and Education Department of the UOC with reference to the press service of the Krivoy Rog diocese.

From the published photos it is clear that in the buildings were broken windows, damaged entrance and interior doors, facade of buildings, as well as elements of interior decoration.

The press service noted that «St. Nicholas Church is located in the spiritual and historical center of Krivoy Rog and is the direct heir of the first Krivoy Rog temple, which was founded by the holy righteous ataman Peter Kalnyshevsky and, which was located near the current cathedral».
