A nardeputy threatened the head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration: If you continue the lease term of the UOC - blame yourself!

A Ukrainian MP of the For the Future party, Ihor Guz, has recorded a threatening video against the head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration, Yuriy Pohulyayko, in which he accused the official of covering for the “Moscow church”. This is reported by the publication BUG.

Guzyu did not like the fact that the commission of the Vladimir Regional State Administration did not find violations of the terms of lease agreements by the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Zimnensky and Nizkinitsky monasteries and the Uspensky Cathedral of Vladimir.

The MP said that he “appealed to the head of the regional administration Mr. Pogulyayko to gather this commission in a new way, to include representatives of the public, representatives of the museum community, local historians, archaeologists, perhaps journalists, that is, people who could be not indifferent to this situation and have a different point of view, not to be dependent, to study this situation very competently and systematically. Unfortunately, to date, no steps have been taken by Mr. Pogulyayko”.

“I have only one conclusion – Mr. Pogulyayko in Volyn covers for the Moscow church, does everything possible to prevent in any way legally to find some or other grounds to terminate the lease agreements of the Nizkinitsky monastery, the Uspensky Cathedral, the monastery in Winter. This is a disgraceful position, from my point of view,” Guz said.

He added that such a position “leads to the fact that the issue with the Moscow Patriarchate in the shrines in question, after a certain period of time, may be solved in a completely different way, not of a legal nature, but of some other kind. And that will be bad.”

“I want to warn Mr. Pogulyayko. In the Cathedral of the Assumption, I think, in June of ’24, the lease expires. If you dare during the war to extend their lease for 50 years now, blame yourself! I warn you as a Ukrainian patriot, as a people’s deputy, as a person who does everything possible to have a united Ukrainian church in Ukraine. I believe that this cannot be allowed, and I urge all citizens, all patriots to keep this situation under control,” the MP threatened.
