Philosopher Zoran Kindzic: Western institutions were not happy about the appeal of Serbian intellectuals in defense of the UOC

Philosopher Zoran Kindzic at a press conference in Belgrade said that Western institutions were not thrilled with the appeal of Serbian intellectuals in defense of the UOC. About it writes Pravblog.
The scholar noted that the corresponding appeal was prepared and distributed because intellectuals should always be interested in the assertion of truth and justice.
Kindzic noted that Western human rights organizations “were not very enthusiastic” about the received document, which was sent, among others, to the Ukrainian Embassy in Serbia, international institutions, as well as many foreign structures for the protection of human rights.
“The West, which formulated the ideology of human rights and used it for decades, is now pretending to be deaf and blind to what is happening to the UOC. If there had been an incident even with a small Christian community a decade ago, everyone would have jumped to their feet and there would have been universal condemnation of the violation of religious rights. However, today, when a huge part of the Ukrainian population is being persecuted, this cannot be achieved,” the philosopher emphasized.
