"The bill to ban the UOC-MP will be voted without problems," - MP

An MP of the presidential party Servant of the People, Oleh Dunda, has claimed that the Verkhovna Rada already has enough votes to vote in favor of the bill banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. He said this on the air of the channel «KIEV24».
«There are no longer 226 votes there, there are much more. There the signatures are already about 240, and really votes for 250. Therefore, certainly, and there is no doubt that if this bill is brought to the session hall, it will be voted without problems», — states Dunda.
As for the question — what kind of bill will be brought up for consideration, the MP is inclined to the legislative initiative of the Cabinet.
«There is already an expertise, relevant expertise, that the UOC-MP is a church subordinate in Moscow, and its center is in Moscow. Accordingly, as soon as the law will be signed by the President, launches the legalization of this expertise and the ban of the UOC-MP or UOC FSS», — said the MP.
