Heating has not been turned on in the buildings of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, where the monks of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church stayed

In social networks there was information that the Kiev city authorities have not signed a new heating contract with the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, because of which the cells are very cold. This was reported by the residents of the monastery.

It is noted that the monks have to bring electric heaters to their cells, everyone is very cold.

According to the authors of the publication, this is due to the desire of those in power to force the Lavra brethren to convert to the PCU, but the vicar and the brethren remain adamant.

It is reported that there is no heat only in those buildings of Lavra, where the monks of the UOC remained. In other buildings, taken away by the Reserve, there is heat.
