In Khmelnytsky region the court obliged the UOC community to vacate the temple-monument of architecture

The Khmelnytskyi Court of Appeal has issued a ruling obliging the Holy Protection Community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Sutkovtsy to vacate the premises of the temple-monument of architecture of the XV-XVI century. The corresponding decision was taken in response to the appeal of Khmelnytskyi regional administration. About it reports the website of the Khmelnitsky court of appeal.

«To remove obstacles to the state represented by the Khmelnytsky Regional State Administration in the use of the object of the state form of ownership — Church-fortress in the village Sutkovtsy Khmelnytsky region and return it to the state from illegal actual possession and use of the archpriest of the Khmelnytsky diocese of the UOC by releasing», — stated in the message.

It is worth noting that the Holy Protection community of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the village Sutkovtsy re-registered back in 2021. Since then, despite pressure from the local authorities, the priest of the UOC sues the state because of the illegal re-registration.
