“Poroshenko should be investigated for treason” - Amsterdam

The head of the international human rights company Amsterdam & Partners LLP, Robert Amsterdam, who represents the legal interests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, has called on the head of the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko, to be put under investigation. The human rights activist is convinced that the former President, calling to ban the UOC, commits treason. About this he wrote in his X.

“Poroshenko should be under investigation for high treason. Anyone who would try to pass #8371 when Vance is Vice President is simply out of his mind. He cannot do more damage to Ukraine than trying to pass this bill today. This is an attempt to completely destroy his credibility in the West. Everyone in the West agrees that this bill is illegal. And it represents Ukraine in the worst possible light,” — wrote Robert Amsterdam.

We will remind, members of the Parliament of the United Kingdom expressed concern about the possible adoption of the law № 8371, aimed at banning the activities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. English MPs consider this law to be a serious violation of democracy and freedom of religion.
