On August 16, 2024, representatives of the OCU, together with the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, performed the first cult activities for the AFU servicemen in the hamas in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “Life-bearing Spring”, which was taken away two days earlier from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and is located on the territory of the Kievo-Pechersk Lavra. “In the Lavra for the second year operates the program “Spiritual restoration by culture”, and its logical continuation was the functioning of the temple for the military. This is the place where there will be a daily prayer for the army and victory.
