The Council of Churches under Kirovograd Regional State Administration excluded the UOC from its membership

The Council of Churches and Religious Organizations at the Kirovohrad Regional Administration expelled representatives of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church from the organization. This decision was made on September 19 during a meeting of the council members. The vote was initiated by a representative of the regional center of the OCU, Mark Levkiv. This is reported by the publication “Kirovograd.net”.
“The fact is that the Russian Orthodox Church is now accused of heretical provisions, of inciting war and failing to fulfill its mission as a church. We do not see any repentance and realization of the consequences that they have caused by their activities. We do not see them disassociating themselves from this policy, and moreover, they are the “heralds of the Russian world.” On this basis, we need to disassociate ourselves from them,” – Mark Levkiv said.
It is worth noting that Kirovohrad region became the fourth region of Ukraine where the Ukrainian Orthodox Church was excluded from the regional council of churches and religious organizations. Earlier, similar actions were announced in Ternopil, Chernivtsi, and Uzhhorod. It is worth noting that such intensity in this area suggests that the decisions taken are planned, and this, in turn, indicates that such actions in the regions will continue.
