Head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine visits churches of OCU - media

The head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, attends religious events in the church of the OCU. This was reported by the GUR chaplain Konstantin Kholodov. Kholodov said that Budanov and his family are practicing believers of the OCU and regularly visit churches when they have free time for this. This is reported by uazmi.org.

“Budanov comes with his wife to the services I conduct. He doesn’t just stand and watch, he is involved in the process, praying, confessing, taking communion. Few of today’s military leaders are church people,” – Kholodov said.

Earlier, Konstantin Kholodov criticized the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the fact that there is not a single representative of the OCU in the leadership of the Military Chaplaincy Service, and the service is led by “graduates of the Order of Lenin colleges”.
