"Truce for Easter and protection of UOC rights": Trump's plan for peace in Ukraine published in media

The media published Trump’s 100-day plan, according to which the head of the White House has developed a roadmap for achieving peace in Ukraine. According to reputable American and European publications, Donald Trump planned to reach a truce by Easter (April 20, 2025), and to end the conflict completely by May 9. In addition, according to media reports, the peace agreement will include a clause on the protection of the rights of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. This is reported by the publication “Country.ua”.
It is reported that from April 20, 2025 (Easter, which this year is celebrated by all Christian denominations on the same day), it is proposed to declare a truce along the entire front line. At the same time, all Ukrainian troops should be withdrawn from the Kursk region. At the end of April 2025, the International Peace Conference is to begin its work, which will record an agreement between Ukraine and the Russian Federation to end the war with the mediation of the United States, China, a number of European countries, and the global South. In addition, the exchange of prisoners under the “all for all” formula will begin in late April.
By May 9, the International Peace Conference is expected to issue a declaration on the end of the war in Ukraine based on agreed parameters. After May 9, Ukraine is offered not to extend martial law and mobilization.
At the same time, the list of parameters of the agreement to be concluded within the framework of the International Conference also takes into account the interests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. According to media reports, all actions against the UOC in Ukraine should be stopped.
Earlier, Ukrainian political analyst Kostyantyn Bondarenko suggested that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church would become one of the subjects of peace talks between Ukraine and Russia.
