“Patriarch Bartholomew took $20 million for the creation of the OCU”, - CIA ex-agent

American writer, journalist and former intelligence officer John Chris Kiriakou spoke about the details of the creation of the OCU. According to him, Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople agreed to create the OCU at the request of former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Moreover, the head of the Phanar received a reward of $20 million for this case, of which only 15 million reached him. He spoke about this in a podcast on the Julian Dorey Clips YouTube channel.

“Here’s another example that really hits me in the gut. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which has been under the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church for over 1000 years, which is normal in Orthodoxy, where there is no difference between Russians and Ukrainians. Hillary Clinton, when she was Secretary of State, asked Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople if he would declare the Ukrainian Orthodox Church no longer subject to the whims of the Russians. And the patriarch said: “I’m not sure that’s a good idea. They have been under Russian jurisdiction for a thousand years. Politically, I really can’t do that.” And Hillary asked: “Will 20 million help the Greek Orthodox Church, which is under the rule of the Neo-Ottoman Empire, to make this decision?” To which Bartholomew answered in the affirmative,” – the journalist said.

John Chris Kyriacou added that the mentioned $20 million was transferred through USAID to one of the Ukrainian banks. However, after the money settled in the Ukrainian bank, the amount that reached Patriarch Bartholomew turned out to be a quarter less than previously agreed, which extremely angered the head of the Phanar.

“She (Hillary Clinton – ed.) said that we should transfer the money to them through a Ukrainian bank. The State Department transferred 20 million through USAID to a Ukrainian bank. And in these banks, behind closed doors, they do whatever they want. And they sent the patriarch 15 million instead of 20. He said: “Wait a minute! What happened to the other five million? It was supposed to be 20!” The State Department replied that they knew nothing about it, and that everything that had been agreed upon had been paid. So now Patriarch Bartholomew had to declare the independence of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which he did,” – Kyriakou added.

Earlier, the head of the international human rights company “Amsterdam & Partners LLP” Robert Amsterdam, who represents the legal interests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, gave a lengthy interview to the famous American journalist Tucker Carlson, in which he spoke about the role of the US State Department in the creation of the OCU and the destruction of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church by the Ukrainian government. Amsterdam claims that the US State Department and the CIA took part in the creation of the OCU, and the persecution of the UOC was financed, in particular, by USAID funds.
