Earlier, the head of the international human rights company “Amsterdam & Partners LLP” Robert Amsterdam, who represents the legal interests of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, gave a lengthy interview to the famous American journalist Tucker Carlson, in which he spoke about the role of the US State Department in the creation of the OCU and the destruction of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church by the Ukrainian government. Amsterdam claims that the US State Department and the CIA took part in the creation of the OCU, and the persecution of the UOC was financed, in particular, by USAID funds.
Phanar archons force ex-CIA agent to retract statement on Patriarch Bartholomew's bribe for creation of OCU
American writer, journalist, and former intelligence officer John Chris Kiriakou, who previously said that Patriarch Bartholomew received a $20 million bribe for the creation of the OCU, was forced to retract his words. The reason for this was the pressure of influential Phanar archons and priests of the Patriarchate of Constantinople in the United States, who have access to the Congress and other government agencies of the United States. This is reported on the website of the Archons of the Patriarchate of Constantinople.
According to the website of the Order of the Archons of the Patriarchate of Constantinople, Protopresbyter Alex Karloutsos, spiritual advisor to the Archons, played a key role in obtaining a refutation of Kiriakou by contacting him and urging him to make a clarification of his statements. The archons pointed out the alleged inconsistency of the facts stated with the realities of the time, as Patriarch Bartholomew signed the Tomos of Autocephaly for the Orthodox Church in Ukraine on January 5, 2019, almost six years after Hillary Clinton left the post of Secretary of State on February 1, 2013. Kiriakou showed no knowledge of this and offered no explanation.
As a result of the pressure, the former CIA agent was forced to retract his statements.
“A few weeks ago, I gave an interview to my friend Julian Dore, in which we discussed corruption in Ukraine. As part of this conversation, I told him a story I heard in 2010 when I was a senior investigator at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. The story was that then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had offered Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople $20 million to recognize the autocephalous, or self-governing, nature of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which had been under the jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church for centuries. However, I learned that this story is not true. There was no such agreement. I should have checked the facts before repeating them,” – Kiriakou said.
