We will remind, earlier we reported that on February 26, 2025, the state registrar of the Lviv Regional State Administration Solomiya Hryniv re-registered the Holy Spirit, St. Nicholas and St. Peter and Paul communities of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to the OCU. Yaroslav (Feognost) Bodoryak, the head of the Chernivtsi Diocese of the OCU, was appointed as the head of these religious organizations. The communities were re-registered despite the fact that the UOC communities had previously held a meeting at which they voted to refuse to change their confessional affiliation.
Militants of right-wing radical organization “Tryzub” hired by OCU seize UOC church in Bukovina

On April 1, 2025, supporters of the OCU, with the physical support of militants of the right-wing radical organization “Trident named after Stepan Bandera”, carried out a raider seizure of the Holy Dormition Church of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Dubivtsi, Chernivtsi region. This is reported by the Telegram channel “First Cossack”.
“According to information from the scene, raiders from the OCU, accompanied by young militants from the Bandera Trident, broke into the territory of the shrine. The militants surrounded and blocked the church. The police are present at the crime scene but do not interfere,” — First Cossack reported.
