Head of Lviv Diocese of the OCU is awarded with a decoration of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine
The head of the Lviv Diocese of the OCU, Dmytro Rudyuk, was awarded the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine’s “For Merit to the Ukrainian People” award. It is worth noting that as a result of the actions of local authorities in the interests of the OCU, there is not a single officially functioning church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the Lviv region. It is reported that the awarding ceremony took place on April 20 in the Lviv Cathedral of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary of the OCU. The award was presented to Rudyuk by MP Rostislav Tistik (member of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction). The certificate was signed by the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk.
