UOC bishops invited to celebrate third anniversary of Council in Feofaniya

The bishops of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church have received an invitation to celebrate the third anniversary of the UOC Council held in Feofaniya in 2022. As reported in the document, on May 27, 2025, celebrations will be held at the St. Panteleimon Monastery in Feofaniya. This is reported by the Telegram channel Pravblog, citing a document published online.
“With the blessing of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onufriy of Kyiv and All Ukraine, the Chancellery of the Kyiv Metropolis of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church informs that on May 27, 2025, the 3rd anniversary of the Council of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which was held in Kyiv (Feofaniya), will be celebrated. In connection with this, on this day, a solemn Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at the St. Panteleimon Convent in Feofania, Kyiv. All the Bishops of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church are invited to participate in the service,” – the document says.
As reported, the day before, the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine, published an address on the occasion of the third anniversary of the UOC Council, which was held on May 27, 2022, in Feofaniya. The Primate emphasized that the Ukrainian Orthodox Church has all the attributes of an independent structure, and therefore expects that this status of the UOC will be supported by the Local Churches.
