Police banned vehicles carrying food for monks of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church from entering the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

The police have banned vehicles carrying food supplies for monks of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church from entering the territory of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. As a result, monks living on the territory of the Lavra have been left without full access to food and other essential household items. This was reported by People’s Deputy Oleksandr Dubinsky on his Telegram channel.
«In the Lower Caves of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, where the monks of the UOC live, the police, at the request of the Ministry of Culture (Yermak’s colleague, Tochitsky), have banned vehicles carrying food from entering. Hunger as a mechanism for ‘resettling’ undesirable elements? The Reich Commissioner seemed satisfied,» — wrote the MP.
Earlier, we reported that the new management of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve plans to restrict the access of monks of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to the premises located on the territory of the “lower” Lavra in the near future. The representatives of the “reserve” want to carry out these actions despite the fact that no court decisions have been made on this issue.
