Military artifacts in the seized St. Michael's Cathedral in Cherkassy: a museum instead of a prayer

A museum dedicated to the Russian-Ukrainian war has been opened in Cherkasy, in the building of St. Michael’s Cathedral, which was seized by activists of the OCU with the support of local authorities. About it reports YouTube-channel “Podrobitsi. Holovne”.
The current «rector» of the cathedral allowed to place the exposition in the unfinished seminary adjacent to the temple. The museum presents samples of weapons, explosives and other military artifacts, which, according to the organizer, were brought from the front lines.
Thus, instead of prayer and spiritual life, the temple space is turned into a place of demonstration of war symbols.
Recall that on October 17, 2024, after the aggressive raider seizure of the Archangel Michael Cathedral of Cherkassy diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, representatives and supporters of the OCU held cultic events in the temple. During the rally that the OCU held in the cathedral after the seizure, the head of the Cherkasy diocese of the OCU appointed a new “rector” of the cathedral. He was a OCU cleric who was directly involved in the seizure of the shrine — OCU chaplain Volodymyr Gladkovsky.
