«The path you are walking is nothing less than a modern Way of the Cross, and on this Way of the Cross you are carrying the Cross of our Lord with silence, courage, prayer, and great patience. You are experiencing Calvary, but after Calvary, do not forget that the Resurrection always comes. In Corfu, on the blessed island of Saint Spyridon, we pray together with you. We do not forget you; we do not abandon you,» — Metropolitan Nektarios wrote in his letter.
