Boxer Usyk came to “support” the prayer vigil of UOC believers near the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk visited the Holy Dormition Kiev-Pechersk Lavra to support the prayer vigil of believers of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, who have been praying outside the monastery for several years in support of the return of the UOC to the monastery. This was reported by the Union of Orthodox Journalists.
“Today I supported the UOC worshippers who are standing in defense of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, I am publishing this as news. UOC: we are different in the one Church of Christ,” — wrote one of the participants in the prayer vigil.
Earlier, we reported that another Ukrainian boxer, Alexander Usyk, paid for flights, accommodation, and tickets to his fight with Englishman Tyson Fury for 20 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, among whom was the so-called chaplain of the OCU, Volodymyr Ridnyi, who participated in the seizure of the Archangel Michael Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Cherkasy.
