Blasphemous demonic actions against our shrines are the work of Zelensky himself, - MP Dmytruk
Ukrainian MP Artem Dmitruk stated that the actions of the Ukrainian authorities regarding the desecration of the relics of the Kiev-Pechersk saints are a personal initiative of Volodymyr Zelensky. Dmitruk added that the OCU, which is subservient to the authorities, is also directly involved in the plundering of the shrines of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra for their subsequent sale. He spoke about this in an interview with the newspaper Izvestia.
«The first and most important thing we must note is that the persecution of the UOC, the destruction of our church, the destruction of the Lavra today, the blasphemous and demonic actions against our shrines, our saints, and our relics are the work of Zelensky himself. Of course, Zelensky’s main task in this direction, in the direction of destroying our church, is to destroy our base, our foundation. In fact, just like the destruction of holidays, the destruction of our history,» — Dmitruk said.
Dmytruk also suggested that representatives of the so-called Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU) may be collecting pieces of relics in the Lavra, vestments and valuables of saints, which they will then try to sell.
“Inevitably, the post-Maidan period in Ukraine is coming to an end. And those people who will defend the rights of believers, the rights of the UOC, will return,” — he concluded.
