Epifaniy Dumenko discussed corruption and European integration of Ukraine with the Ambassador of the Netherlands

on November 25, 2025, the head of the OCU, Epiphany Dumenko, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Ukraine, Alla Dorhout. The key topics of discussion were humanitarian cooperation and the country’s European integration.

During the dialogue, which took place at Dumenko’s residence, the parties touched upon a wide range of issues. According to the press service of the OCU, they discussed the ministry of the organization’s chaplains in the Netherlands, the fight against corruption, the activities of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations, and Ukraine’s European integration.

Earlier, the hierarch of the UOC-KP, Joasaph Shibaev, made a harsh statement against the head of the OCU, Epiphany, and the structure he leads. In his appeal, published on the telegram channel «For the Ukrainian Church,» Shibaev accused the head of the OCU of usurping power, lying and «leading the church along the path of modernism to please external forces.»
