Scandalous OCU cleric-blogger, who glorified the work of the TRC, received a summons during the funeral of a fallen soldier

The odious cleric-blogger of the Ternopil Diocese of the OCU, Oleksiy Filyuk, received a summons to the military enlistment office immediately after the funeral ceremony for the deceased soldier. This was reported by the priest himself on his Facebook page. The information is confirmed by the Glavkom publication.
According to Oleksiy Filyuk, he was approached by representatives of the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) and handed the document when he was on the square after the funeral. The priest shared his emotions on social media, noting: “I still have a call to the army. That’s it. Goodbye, dear family, I’m going to defend Ukraine. The soldier was buried in the square, and after the funeral I was handed a call-up. Hateful people, rejoice! This is a day like this, God bless you: the parcel was stolen, I received a call.”
Earlier, Oleksiy Filyuk called evasion from mobilization and hiding from the military service a sin, stressing that defending the homeland is the duty of every man. At the same time, answering questions about why he himself is not at the front, Filyuk referred to the legal right to deferment, which he obtained through the adoption of children. In addition, Filyuk claimed that “handing over” relatives to territorial recruitment centers (TRCs) is not a sin and can be seen as a benefit to the state.
