The health condition of Metropolitan Theodosius, head of the Cherkasy diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, has gradually improved over the past week. This was reported by representatives of the diocese, expressing gratitude for prayerful support.
As Cherkassy Blagovestnik reports, by the labors of doctors and by the grace of God, Lord Theodosius is on the road to recovery. The message contains sincere gratitude to all brothers and sisters who worried and offered prayers for the Metropolitan.
Representatives of the diocese also asked not to leave prayers for Metropolitan Theodosius, emphasizing the importance of spiritual support in the process of his recovery.
We will remind, earlier we reported that the Chechelovsky district court of the city of Dnipro on December 15, 2025, obliged Dniprovsky multipurpose hospital № 4, located on the territory of the detention center, to conduct an urgent medical examination of the vicar of the Svyatogorsk Lavra Metropolitan Arseny of Svyatogorsk. Such a decision was taken after a motion by the defense to change the measure of restraint for the bishop due to the deterioration of his health. The court also ruled that Lord Arseny will be able to participate in subsequent sessions via videoconference, and the next hearing in the case was postponed to December 22.
