Head of OCU "consecrates" spiritual center of the Main Intelligence Directorate in Kyiv

The head of the OCU, Epiphany Dumenko, “consecrated” the spiritual center of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine in Kyiv. The event was dedicated to honoring the memory of the fallen DIU soldiers and “blessing” the military intelligence special forces who continue to defend Ukraine.

According to the DIU’ s press service, the ceremony was attended by the head of the DIU Military Chaplaincy Service, Lieutenant Colonel Kostiantyn Kholodov, as well as representatives of the OCU and officers of the military intelligence of Ukraine.

At the end of the ceremony, Dumenko presented the DIU Spiritual Center with an icon of the Martyr Victor, symbolizing the victory over evil. For his part, Kostiantyn Kholodov presented an icon of the patron saint of intelligence officers – the Archangel Gabriel.

Earlier it was reported that the former head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the new head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, and his wife Marianna, are parishioners of the OCU.
