"Shalom, Orthodox!": Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine celebrated Purim with the Jewish community of Kyiv

Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov and his deputy Iryna Mudra took part in the celebration of the Jewish holiday of Purim, joining the local community in Kyiv.
As reported by JCC BEIT Menachem KYIV on social media, the solemn event began with the traditional reading of the Scroll of Esther. This was followed by a festive feast that united the participants of the celebration.
As part of the celebration, the Jewish community of Kyiv handed over Purim kits to the Ukrainian military. Kyrylo Budanov personally delivered a welcoming speech and congratulated the audience on the holiday.
Earlier it was reported that the former head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the new head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov and his wife Marianna, are parishioners of the OCU.
