Olena Zelenska Hosted a Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra

A summit of first ladies and gentlemen focused on mental health issues was held at the Refectory Church of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. The event, initiated by the wife of the President of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, focused on discussing strategies for providing psychological support to citizens amid current challenges. This was reported by the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve on Facebook.
The choice of venue for the summit was dictated by the monastery’s symbolic significance. According to Zelenska, this ancient shrine, which has endured numerous trials and acts of destruction over the centuries, is a striking example of resilience—a quality that resonates with the current experience of the Ukrainian people.
During the discussions, delegates addressed key topics such as mutual support, combating cognitive threats, and preserving the mental health of the population. Representatives of the reserve also noted that, in the run-up to the Lavra’s millennium anniversary, the main task is to strengthen the monastery’s “Ukrainian voice,” as well as positioning it as an integral part of Europe’s historical and cultural heritage.
As a reminder, from August 13 to 16, the ninth annual Bouquet Kyiv Stage festival of fine arts will take place on the grounds of the “Sofia of Kyiv” National Reserve , with this year’s main theme being the slogan “Armed with Beauty.”
