Greeks perceive the OCU as a part of their patriarchy, – social networks

The current government grossly neglects Filaret (the President of Ukraine Zelensky never met with him, he is not even invited to state events, and the supporters of the head of the Kyiv Patriarchate are under pressure), but in every possible way imposes the Greek Patriarch Bartholomew. This is the opinion of the authors of the page “For the Ukrainian Church” close to the UOC-KP.

“What we wrote about a year ago is confirmed: Andriy Yermak took patronage over the OCU. This somewhat strains the beneficiary of this denomination, Poroshenko. The odious Archbishop Yevstratiy Zorya, who managed to establish cooperation with Yermak, who is accused of being pro-Russian in the media, attended the meeting in Bankova Street.

At the meeting of Andriy Yermak and Emmanuel Adamakis, Yevstratiy Zorya was present, but there was no Exarch of the Patriarch of Constantinople Mikhail Anishchenko. Although Mikhail should be, he has such a position – to represent the interests of Bartholomew in Ukraine. Since there was a bishop of the OCU Yevstratiy Zorya, this is another vivid evidence that the Greeks perceive the OCU as a component of their Patriarchate, and not as a separate local full-fledged church,” the message says.
